Water has proven to be our most precious resource. It is life itself and nothing may exist without. I feel our collective mind is just recently becoming hyper aware of the crucial need to protect our water sources. For so long we have lived in a way where we believed access to freshwater has and always will be. Today’s stark reality is that this may not always be the case. Wellspring is a compilation of many sources of freshwater reservoirs in Tla’amin territory, freshwater is something we have always enjoyed in abundance in qathet. Conversations around water consumption, preservation and protection will be the focus of the future.
